2010 Women’s League Officers

Char Martin had her first Hole In One on Wednesday June 23 on Hole #12.

Her playing partners were Leslie Dalum, Mary Jacobson and Evalie Trinrud!

Congrats to Char!

9-HOLE LEAGUE ladies will not have a schedule. Instead, all women who want to play will show up at the Pro Shop at 8:45am, draw a card and play with whoever is drawn together. If you know you can’t play a certain Wednesday, you don’t have to show up however it would make Pat’s life easier if you call the Pro Shop so they are not waiting to see if you show up.
*****MIXERS are league special events combining the 18-hole and 9-hole ladies. Please sign-up in the Pro Shop by noon the preceding Wednesday if you would like to play in the mixer. The day of the MIXER, check in the PRO SHOP to see what hole you start on and whom you will be playing with. The shotgun start will be at 8:15am. The MIXERS are only 9-holes, so if you want to play another 9 holes, make your own tee time.

The TOURNAMENT (handicapped) will run June 30th-July 28th. Brackets will be set up for all who want to play in the tournament. Sign up for the tournament by June 23rd. The schedule for tournament & non-tournament participants will be in the Pro Shop by Monday, June 28th. The tournament will only be 18 holes. 9-Hole League ladies may sign-up and play in the tournament if they so desire. During the month of July, please call the Pro Shop for your tee time each Wednesday. If you lose your match, you will be scheduled with others who have lost or didn’t sign-up for the tournament.

LEAGUE RULES
• If you will not be able to play, make 2 phone calls a.s.a.p. – please call the Pro Shop and one player in your group. You may also try calling a sub if you know you can’t play ahead of time.
• Please DO NOT change your threesomes or foursomes.
• Play summer rules or winter rules according to signs posted on #1 and #10.
• Chip-in pots, ringer, game of the day and stableford will be run separate for 9-hole and 18-hole players. See the tables each Wednesday before your tee time to sign-up and pay your money accordingly. It is best to show up a little early on league day to get all your commitments & games squared away.
• GAME OF THE DAY payout is $1.50/player who plays in each division.
• HALF THE POT is $.50/week.
• CHIP-IN cost is $.25/week for 9 holers and $.50 for 18 holers. You MUST sign your name and pay before your round. If you get a chip-in you MUST circle your name and list the hole on the chip-in sheet.
• RINGER cost is $2.00 and runs May 6th through August 26th. The first week of play, your ringer card will be completed by the committee. Beginning the 2nd week of play, it is your job to change your ringer card each week. Ringer cards will be located on the league table in the lobby. Please ask a league veteran about this if you don’t understand.
• Please contribute to the PUTT FUND each week. The usual contribution is one cent per putt. The putt container is located on the league table.

• If you would like to be a part of the STABLEFORD game, give your $5 to the Pro Shop attendant. Any questions, please ask Marge Steinke.
